Woods/Rammel + Wincek/Fitzpatrick, David Russel and Ratatosk @ The Borg Ward (823 W. National Avenue, 7 p.m.

The Borg Ward is home to some of Milwaukee’s most daring and creative exports in the realms of sound, regularly filling the space with the dissonance and art of noise. This Saturday should not be missed for fans of pushed musical boundaries, as the  Borg Ward collects some of the city’s most driven and talented noisemakers to have a musical mind-meld: Peter J. Kid, You’ll Move Mountains [CD Release] + The Elusive Parallelograms, Disguised as Birds, The Chairs @ Cactus Club (2496 S. Wentworth), 10 p.m.

Kid, You’ll Move Mountains (IL) can rightly call Milwaukee home in part to vocalist/guitarist and former Milwaukee native, Jim Hanke (El Oso). Because of dual citizenship, the band will be releasing their new album Loomings at the Cactus Club. Also playing: Elusive Parallelograms, Disguised as Birds and The Chairs. Psst — word is out that one Disguised as Birds band mate is temporarily flying the coop to allow a special guest to sit in. Who will be perched onstage? Find out Saturday.
